Wow Thanks Joris
I'd give my eye teeth to hear that live again

I'm not sure if the Richard Skinner sessions have already been posted on here (I did a search and ain't seen a post), well here is a link to the mp3. It'll take you to John Peel's Wiki / Karl's Tapes.

The link you'll want is SkinnerPeel AprilMay 1981.mp3
The UB's start at about 1:52:40.

Hi, yeah I found that FTP a while ago, also great recordings of the 1982 session with John Peel. Great recordings but hope to find these in full, and in better quality some time. Would be great to have a BBC Sessions compilation released with all UB40 sessions.

Yeah this early Live stuff is awesome. As much as the band tried to block the lost tapes release I'm so glad it was, what an incredible album. Are there any live recordings of Lovers Leap Joris? I believe this was in their early gigs?

Don't know if any of the real early gigs were ever recorded or bootlegged. As for The Lost Tapes the track "Gibson Bass" was also recorded but not included on the album. I have never heard this track either. Graduate Records informed me that the quality on the tapes was excellent for this track and it was omitted due to contractual reasons.

Think Gibson Bass was on the original tracklisting but eventually left off. I assume it is an instrumental
