Not really a follower of beauty contests, but this has been in the news.
I'd like to think the people quoted below were just being 'ironic'... but you know what? They probably weren't and probably don't know the meaning of the word. You have to laugh at some of this, really.

by teenagers I meant actual teenagers and people whose mental and emotional abilities stalled at the "teenager" level. Sometimes those people are referred to as "rednecks", but really they are just... uninformed.
