Greetings comrades...I have finished writing it ( about 18 months ago ) & No Kmaker not a prop plane, it was a 747 BUT the distances are HUGE...the pacific is a big ocean..it takes about 20 hrs from the UK..(used to take 28 hrs when we first travelled down under)

Now as far as a release date is concerned..I had a very serious offer to publish it but I/we have never been comfortable with 'tabloid type' publicity and a friend of mine, a professional published writer said " Unless you tell EVERYTHING, if you don't tell your story in the minutest detail it will be worthless and open to correction " I have to agree but it still doesn't make me feel any better about revealing our darkest secrets, afterall not all my friends or ex friends for that matter would want their business recounted in a book and its incredibly difficult telling my story without including them.There is also the fact that Im not totally convinced that the world needs another ' musician/band biography' even if ours is particularly juicy, its been an incredibly eventful 30 year roller coaster ride which we managed to keep it pretty private until recently, which I think is the way it should be...so Im VERY undecided about publishing...it took me hours to find that relatively 'non expose' excerpt...

Yes DJ its an auto biography but being me its also a band biog..no way round that one but its my experience in the band and no thats not chapter one..I haven't really 'chapterised ' it (is that a real word ? ) I started the book at Birmingham Airport on the morning we left for our last tour with the old lineup, January 2008 Australia / New Zealand and finishing in Uganda...so the first half is pretty much a day to day journal of the Raggmuffin tour down under then when its all finished I go back to our childhood, school days, forming the band..

That was a great read BT loved it.
I could fill a bit in for you Friday 15th February.......I was of doing...........while Astro was down in the bar with 3 lovely Loonies having a few bevvys.
Later that evening played to an audience of ?????? at Brisbane Riverstage.
After the gig arriving back at our hotel, there were the 3 lovely loonies again, hugs and kisses all round then I baffled them with my little blue light trick, had a bit of a natter, then up to room call Leslie and get some kip.
The next morning at around 7am headed down to pay hotel bill, there they were again to see us off on the bus (to go to do the Tempus Wine Vineyard gig), had some lovely pics taken with our Aussie mates, more hugs and kisses and told them we'd see them in 2 years!!

How's that for memory BT, can you fill in anymore??
