About 25. Been going since '81 - 6 since Duncan but only 1 in the 90's for varying reasons.Be adding another 2 this year.

I will clock up 50 by the end of September this year. My first gig was at Manchester Apollo on the LOL3 tour when I was 15 years old.....

Do I qualify for the most gigs for a whippersnapper? lol

Cheers

Paul

The Signing Off tour is also a reminder of how much venues have changed. The most important venues then were probably Hammersmith Odeon,Birmingham Odeon and Manchester Appollo.I might be wrong but I don't think any of the venues played by the boys on the winter 2009 tour were there in 1980.

Hammersmith Odeon (or Apollo as it is now) holds a place in my heart. I've seen some great bands there over the past 3 decades, and for a seated venue it's one of my faves. These days they do take the seats away for certain gigs, they never would have back in the 80s, but whatever the layout the atmosphere is always buzzing.
