Talking From forum to Forum...

in under 3 hours

From receiving the news just after 2:30 pm that I'd won 2 tickets for the gig at HMV Forum last night it turned into one made dash. my son didn't get home from college till 4:45 - he was washed and changed and we were out the door heading for the train station by 5 PM.

The lovely Champers and secret loonie had offered us a bed for the night.
So all we had to do was to head straight to the Forum. we arrived there by 7:45 pm.

Once there I did a quick scan, couldn't see Champers straight away but did spot Josie - Reggae girl and Jaqui - Eastender at the barrier. Said a quick hello and said i didn't really want to be squashed. As we headed over to the side I saw new grandparents Richard and Lorraine , again said a quick hello and moved on again to bump into Champers, she explained secret loonie and Tang were at the back by the bar there's a surprise! We also saw DJ and the lovely present Mrs DJ, nice to meet you both.

DJ Gold was working playing the tunes as we mingled about chatting and then decided to settle at the barrier on the right hand side.
On came the band and show began. Totally amazing, Champers was darting about taking photos, I was a bit more calm taking photos as well. The music was amazing, as others have already said. I loved all the set of SO and all the set of part 2. The best one for me was Boom Shaka Laka from side 2 But again they were all superbly performed. Didn't see anything of Jimmy from where we were standing but thankfully could hear him

After the gig we got to speak to Elise, Tang and Skeggsy, meet DJ and Mrs DJ again got a few loonies pics.

It was an amazing night. Thanks Brian for the tickets Thanks to Champers and Dell for looking after us

Hope that was okay Tom?

love jen x

Thanks Geri, I've got a seat front row, centre in the balcony. So I'll have a good view And some where to put me coat

Might mosey along to the standing area for part 2 and have a look out for C. and Mini Tart.

Promise to take lots of piccies Geri might be cr*p but there'll be plenty of them.
