Like the idea of a deluxe album just hope that Virgin will seek help-to coin a BT phrase and ask the fans what they would like on it i.e.

Kid Jensen BBC session Red Red Wine, Please Don't Make Me Cry and Nkomon A Go-Go

Sufferfin Dub version plus Nya & Natty Version

Johnny Too Bad (Unexpurgated version) Version)

Cherry Oh Baby (Dub Mix)

Winston Groovey, Please Don't Make Me Cry (UB40 Backing Tack Plus Winston Vocal from SouthBank Show) Plus any other versions that can be added from Fathers sessions

Also a Please Don't Make Me Cry-12" Version as the song was released by Virgin very quickly without a 12" Version

Best regards

Chronic

Labour of Love, in line of the progression of The Harder They Come, Exodus and Black Uhuru's Chill Out in particular, is the most influential album of my life, forever solidifying my love and devotion to reggae, still burning deep in my soul.

That said, I agree there should be a special re-mastered release to celebrate it, one of Reggae's Greatest Albums of All Time with all the neat extras said in this thread.
Maybe around the Holiday Season in 2013, build a short tour around the Labour of Love album re-release, with the entire album and dub Frilla played.

The Signing Off 30th Anniversary Tour was truly one-of-a-kind to say the least. The greatest concert, Reggae or otherwise in my life. It was a brilliantly conceived milestone for where UB40 began and where they are today.

All this said, I'd rather see more energy and emphasis placed on the soon to come new album and world tour---the very best promotion, tv, even a few good music videos----pulling out all the stops to make this a huge success worthy of UB40's rightful place in the history of the music.

Keep On Movin' UB40, Keep On Movin' Forward.
Cheers and Peace,
Bagga....
