Poor article on ali

I have just come across this article, reaffirms what JB has said about Ali's un predictable behaviour.

Just the way he is i'll guess. Looking funny,but the opposite is true i think?

It is a funny read, had me chuckling, but I think it says more about the author than anybody else. I suspect that he is referring to time ago. It all sounded great fun to me I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall

I can say, without fear of contradiction, that it was NOT fun Roseo.

that article seemed like a very accurate description of the constant brattish behaviour of our ex singer. having an out of control, nasty, alcoholic singer wasn't 'fun' in any way at all.

trying to stop him from being beaten up, and hoping that he can remember the words to the songs was a daily pressure for everyone else.

the fact that we managed to succeed is testament to the determination, loyalty and patience of the people around him.

always felt that jim even in the days of your 21st bash he was prancing around with his bodyguard who was keeping people away or he may have just been a mate of his but nevertheless very bolsie to the fans who actually put him where he was, but never a problem with the rest of the band even Astro and in particularly Mickey who always had time for a chat but the rest of you guys always pleasant and approachable

I didn't mean fun in the sense that HE was fun, but fun in a voyeuristic sense. Watching somebody pratting around, almost like a caricature of what he thought he should be, it just made me chuckle.
My choice of words were probably not the best given all the stresses you have all endured and I apologise for them, I certainly didn't mean to cause any offence to yourself or any other band member. Please accept my sincere apologies

I suppose the antics of alcoholics can be fun when reading about it or watching on a screen, living with it is another thing.
