Default Brussels show from the UK?

Just wondering if anyone will be heading over to Brussels from the uk in September or has done so before?

The Mrs missed out yet again this tour...
She has often hinted at the idea of a quiet city break away from normal life to somewhere a bit different.

So I came up with the idea of a few days in a few days away from it all and why not take in a gig along the way

Looking at the tour info, the only time realistically is going to be September now, checking out a few links, looks like Brussels would be the best bet.

The big but is the distance from the airport to Brussels itself...seems a very long way off, although flights are pretty cheap....

Never been here before, so would be grateful to hear any ideas

Zurich may have been an option, but flights are way over the top.

Might not happen, but its a thought at the mo.
Posted it in here as I cant post it on facebook as she'll see that straight away. The hardest person to ever arrange a surprise for!

Eurostar works best for me, but you're a long way away from St Pancras Andy. I will be going, as it means I can catch up with one of my ex schoolmates - one of the few I still talk to

I think there are 2 airports for Brussels - Charleroi, which will have the cheaper flights might as well be in Timbucktu, is that the one that your searches are showing?

Possibly see you there

Yeah, Charleroi was the airport that came up... pretty cheap I have to say, but yep, a good 50km away from Brussels...not much good when you havent a clue where you are

Ill have a good search round fore other options but need to get moving as I dont know how many tickets are left.
They will post them to the UK?

e-tickets only Andy But better than a kick in the teeth

This is the airline that flies to the main airport in Brussels, but flights are double Ryanair.

Can you make May 19th? Granted Southend isn't as exotic as Brussels, but it might work out cheaper
