Default 19th Brum was.....outstanding

Well here goes...
Was awake from 3am with poorly Son, so wasn't sure if I would make the gig. Luckly he was well enough to leave him. Arrived ar 8.30 with my gig partner, saw Helena and Luci on the stairs, said a passing hello, lol and straight in.
The place was jam packed and the dj was throwing down some tunes. Just time to get a drink, then fight through the crowd into my usual spot, stage right second row & a good view, bonus. I could see the front row was defo loonie packed, Michele, Annemarie etc etc.
Lights down and on they came, the whole place erupted. From the first note everyone was dancing. The set list, as said before in many reviews was fantastic. RBC said something for the old, the young and those inbetween and they did not disappoint. Great interaction and energy from the whole band. The new format allows more of the guys to come front of stage....didn't miss the tamborine...

DC owned the stage, his voice, harmonies and moves- just wicked.
Norman at the back doing actions to the songs, heartfelt. His dancing second to none..gwan.
Laughed at BT and DC when they nearly got tangled, so funny.
The encore, JB on stage on his own for a good while & TM in stitches , classic.
All too soon it was over and I like so many felt proud.
Was time to have a quick chat to Lesley and also catch up with the Flash..joker.

UB40 has a unique sound that NO ONE can replicate
UB40 has a unique bond as a band & with their true fans and NO ONE can replicate that either....
so mek dem gwan. X
