yes BOS very lazy and more interested in the posing and chewing gum than actually singing well shouting at times but nethertheless a great day and gig

That was the bands experience in most gigs. Most of the time he had forgotten the words and was just singing gibberish. The booze ruined his performance. The rest of the band had to compensate for that by making sure the music was dynamic. It was always a relief when normy, earl, astro or RBC took the mike. This went on for most of the thirty years together. Even at the very end at the Ugandan show he was out of tune. I don't think he ever enjoyed playing live. He always had that rabbit-caught-in-the -headlights look on his face. Still has.
