Default The songs that inspired Labour of Love

First of all, congratulations to UB40 for the 100,000 plus sales of the LOL compilation and continued success on the current tour.

Talking 'old skool' now...

Here's an album of old songs, some of which are well known to all UB40 fans. I've been trying to track this album down for years and by the magic of the internet, I found it this afternoon. It was here that I first heard songs that cropped up on Labour of Love, and in the case of Monkey Man, on The Specials' first lp. So it means a lot to me, to say the least.

TBL 130 Various - Reggae Reggae Reggae
Tracks: You Gonna Need Somebody (Candy) / Got To Come Back (Delano Stewart) / Monkey Man (Maytals) / Remember That Sunday (Alton Ellis) / I Shall Be Released (Heptones) / There's A Fire (Gaylads) // Sweet Sensation (Melodians) / Singer Man (Kingstonians) / Come Back Darling (Sensations) / Bongo Nyah (Little Roy) / Sugar Sugar (Nat Cole) / Je T'Aime (Jay Boys)
1970
