Default If it wasnt for UB40 (LOL tunes)

then these tunes would probably never ever get a re-cover ever and would be lost in time with only the old mono scratchy versions by the original artists, so really its a big YAY and thank you to UB40 for "reviving" (for a better word) and enhancing these songs back into more modern listening for is.

Well said.I remember some f**kwit reviewer on channel 4 teletext a few years ago saying that the average UB40 wouldn't have heard of the likes of Peter Tosh and Black Uhuru.I would argue that the exact opposite is true.I have several albums by both artists but only have BECAUSE of the influence UB40 have had on my musical tastes.

true, true,true............Ub40 has my utmost respect for educating us youngsters...(many moons ago for me) in the reggae riddims from yesteryear.

wish i could be a reviewer on teletext, then i would know i've really made it as a gobshoite.
