Default The future of UB40...

...I'm looking forward to it, as it should be a nice, groovy future! The tour is sold out and I am hoping that carries over into the States and beyond!

So stop fretting (if you were fretting to begin with) and sit back...relax, and enjoy the vibes. In the words of Bob Marley, "every little thing gonna be alright."

What he said.

The actions of our ex-singers aren't very edifying. But it's a storm in a teacup. A last ditch attempt to undo some of the damage they've done to themselves.

The band are fully concentrated on the tour ahead.

It's great putting a new set together from scratch. We've got over thirty years of material to dip into, and we want to make sure we give the bands own material a good airing. There will be some LOL tunes of course, but we don't want to let them dominate (we'll let our imitators concentrate on the covers).

Don't want to give too much away, but there will be a few surprises. Even for the most certifiable loonies in the audience.

At the risk of sounding like a politician in PR mode, I've never looked forward to a tour as much as this one. After everything that has gone on recently the band are ready for anything. We wanna make it the best ub show EVER.

It's a big ask, but you know I'm not the type to limit expectations.

Bring it on

You don't sound like a politician in PR mode at all, Jim. You simply sound like a man who's been through a lot and is ready to get on with it and let the music do the talking....and that's the best thing that can happen, for all involved!

Onward and upward!

All of you loonies who are going to the shows on this tour are very lucky. I have no doubt you will be treated to some of the finest shows they've done. We wish we could be there dancing alongside you all.

Well, scantily clad band members and a whole heap of older songs will go a long way to keeping us old 'Tarts' happy!

Getting very excited, it has been far too long.
