CERTIFIABLE - count me in! wild horses won't keep me away!

As for a total re-vamp of the set, it's been a long time coming and i will very much welcome a change (not sure i woulda coped with another tour of the same old same old), with much less of the traditional LOL stuff (yay). I'm sure you have seen our suggestions JB (Love Is All...hint). Now do hurry and get your asses into the rehearsal room...you have less than three weeks.

Though less LOL stuff is a good thing, it would be good to hear some less played lol choons, like Legalise It, Train is Coming... i dont care much for GOTS so would be happy to lose those ones in favour of older songs. Just an opinion for what it's worth.

If UB40 are to get through this you have to be top of your game, tight as a tight thing, and put on a show to beat all shows and push all would be competitors into the shadows.

See you soontime
Tan x

I haven't been to a full show since the signing off tour, so looking forward to Birmingham, I'm convinced each and every show will continue to surpass the one before.
I've always had total confidence in the guys and each and every time imo I have been proven correct
the guys who have left well to me they don't really make a difference ub40 is, has and always be a band or rather group of friends.....that's the essence and that's what makes it work........individuality and egos and greed have been a cancer to the band, but thankfully those tumors have been removed, and we fans are being rewarded with proper music and a brilliant brand new reworked set list
bring on the tours......and bring on the future!

The band are fully concentrated on the tour ahead.

It's great putting a new set together from scratch. We've got over thirty years of material to dip into, and we want to make sure we give the bands own material a good airing. There will be some LOL tunes of course, but we don't want to let them dominate (we'll let our imitators concentrate on the covers).

Don't want to give too much away, but there will be a few surprises. Even for the most certifiable loonies in the audience.

At the risk of sounding like a politician in PR mode, I've never looked forward to a tour as much as this one. After everything that has gone on recently the band are ready for anything. We wanna make it the best ub show EVER.

It's a big ask, but you know I'm not the type to limit expectations.

Bring it on
Onward and forward!!

The UBs have always been critical of UB44 because they reckon the partying got a bit out of control during the making of it.I disagree, thought it was a class album.Think I preferred the original mixes of I won't close my eyes,Love is all and Folitician though.
