Fan status also measured by number of posts, or how many concerts, albums, or times you have met BT??

That was entirley my point. I dont, basically because what i had to say at the time wasnt what people wanted to hear. Mickey leaving gutted me, but it didnt stop me listening to UB40 buying thier stuff and enjoying it. It just meant i wasnt here to share it.
But for the record, i posted on the Astro thread, as soon as i found out the news today.

Gutted about Astro leaving I can't honestly see a future for UB40 going forward. When Ali left I still supported both the band and Ali and have since purchased everything that has been released and more. Now Astro has gone, who for me was awesome and I loved all Astro's add ons to the end of lots of the UB songs. The last few albums WYFF, and Ali's final appearance album twentyfourseven were the best UB albums for a long time. LOL 4 and GOTS were in my opinium the two worst albums UB40 have made to date. Thank you UB40 for 34+ years I would love to think you can all sort out your issues and start releasing some good UB reggae music again. Here's hoping ! ! ! ! Before everyone jumps on the band wagon and starts ripping into me, I am entitled to my say too. After all like lots of Loonies on here I have spent 34 years supporting UB40 and collecting everything that has been released. I will probably still do this, but not sure if I will go to any more concerts, but I hope the band prove me wrong.

Sad day. Remember Brian once said that UB were friends before UB and will be after UB. Hope this is the case.

Just that 8 spotty 19 year olds decided to make music and what is important was there friendship hope they remember that.

They gave us everything owe us nothing, great memories many friends along the way.

If they carry on great if not thanks for giving us great times more than just the music we felt like a family...

Yes agree with you 100% there Kate.

BUT it is not right to make assumptions about UB40's personal, business and finance matters when none of us is in the know.

What I don't understand is how people who haven't posted for years suddenly come back to put their two cents worth in when the band are down. This is a UB40 forum and it would be nice to see only UB40 fans here. Doesn't it seem odd for someone to want to come and slag a band on the band's own website when they themselves aren't even fans of the band anymore?
