UBTV..trying to shoot'n'play at same time

Greetings cinephiles...heres an example of why one shouldn't try to shoot and play keyboards at the same time..keys needing two hands at once..anyway..its another brief glimpse of the show in Lima Peru from our side of the camera..BUT I know PP is making one of his groovy pictures..so there is better coverage to come...enjoy..its only short..watch for the action camera work towards the end...

Thats what I love about proper Geordies, their capacity for abstract thought, their practical command of common sense..lovely idea Kris, except I believe you are trying to make me look like that Geordie genius Mark Knopfler..maybe i need a big Rasta hat with a hidden camera in..or a top hat ? or just BIG HAIR...

They do, by looking at the size of that crowd.

bt/ub40 11th February 2010 09:25 PM

Thats what we thought, must be a small place....but its a race track as big as Aintree..its the horse track....20,0000 tickets sold..probably more as we never get told exactly..theres always a fiddle...

kate13 11th February 2010 09:47 PM

It was as big as Aintree, Now that is big :) impressive.
Alot bigger than we imagined, At first i did think it must be small club not a full size race track...i know someone who would have really enjoyed that lol

Steve Skeggs 11th February 2010 09:50 PM

They don't call him steady eddy for nothing, great camera work!! :bigwink:

JB40 11th February 2010 10:25 PM

just in case we are wrongly accused of exagerating the numbers. Apparently more than just our word is needed, so there it is. I was told various numbers, from 17,000 to 20,000. Either way, it was a f**king lot !!

San Diego 11th February 2010 10:38 PM

So you managed to fill more than the first 6 rows??? Hmm.... :laff:

JB40 11th February 2010 10:44 PM

Yes Fi. Playing to a crowd like that is better than drugs.

JB, I thought you got your computer fixed. I guess you didn't bother to take in the keyboard. So I guess you still can't type bollocks either?

And yes, that is a fking lot! :)

JB40 12th February 2010 10:38 AM

Despite the slight delay [nothing to do with the band], it was a great gig. Nobody complained to us about it. The Peruvians that we met [Julio etc], didn't even mention it. They were so happy to have us there. The crowd danced and sang right to the end. As you can see from BT's clip.

old loonie 12th February 2010 12:33 PM

BTs hand looked great:haha:
5 thousand, 10 thousand, 20 thousand it dont matter the guys can fill any arena anywhere in the world, so what if there are some empty seats at venues, i paid for CDP and did not turn up because something came up so things like that happen, there is a difference between a few empty seats in a 20 thousand seater and a half full 2000 seater theatre lol
You guys have nothing to prove, let the reprobates argue amongst themselves we have the biggest reggae band in the world to follow
Long live the Kings:beer:
