Speaking of Aswad, Drummie and Tony were on 5 Live last nite at 11pm being interviewed....they seemed in good spirits despite having to put up with a pleasant but thick interviewer, asking questions like "so, where does reggae come from?" and "Are Madness STILL going?" ....they did say Suggs is a big mate and I do remember YEARS AGO Lord Suggs saying Warrior Charge was one of his fave tunes.

Good on Aswad, they come across as earthy and real- I'd give my eye teeth for Brinsley to return, mind you.

Saw Aswad last Saturday (13th) at the Royal Norfolk showground in Norwich.

The Dualers opened the show, then Aswad, then Madness.

I am not their biggest fan but I must say that I did enjoy their set. 8)

Totally with you there buddy. Drummie is a great, err, drummer, but he just doesn't cut it as a lead singer for me. Brinsley, however, really delivers. Just listen to Natural Progression from the New Chapter album. Killer tune, wicked brass, deadly vocal. It's a real shame that he left. Sniff...

Later,

UKW.
