Hello! Marco On The Bass checking in from New York City!

I wanted to introduce a new musical project inspired by UB40's Labor Of Love album series-- Rude Boy George is a collective of NYC ska/reggae musicians who are creating ska, reggae & rocksteady versions of 80's new wave songs! Have a listen to rehearsal versions (recorded on an iPhone!) of the INXS classic "Don't Change" and The Human League's "Fascination."

Not sure how to embed YouTube code on this board!

Here are direct links to You Tube clips:

Rude Boy George - Don't Change - YouTube (http://youtu.be/1pnGUGOQC6M)

Rude Boy George - Fascination - YouTube (http://youtu.be/Hl76XGtwjCI)

The name is tongue in cheek but the music is dead serious.

I'm going to run Don't Change by my INXS mates. I'm way too territorial over the song to give a non biased opinion :ooh:

personnally i think "covers" keep a song alive.
im not saying these are better than the originals.... only very few times does that happen with any success...
