do you really not know? or is it a trick question?

anyway, it's a measure of distance in a straight line. Like if you wanted to know how far your house is from a bus stop, it may be 3 miles if you were following paths and roads and things and turning corners, but if you could fly and just go stright there in 1 direction then it may just be a mile. do you get me or am i babbling now?
