part toast the bread on one side, proper toast it on the other. butter the least toasted side and then ram on loadsa cheese, sometimes i put in some sliced tomato too. let it cook under grill and then chuck on course black pepper and some encona west indian hot pepper sauce. yummy! :grin:

p.s i slice the cheese. can't be arsed with all that pantsing about!

Mature Cheddar sliced medium/thick placed dry on the toast.
