I got a BT voyager router and i am trying to setup port forwarding so my public ip routs to one of my lan ip's any of u done this ?
even if i setup this pc as a DMZ it still dont work..
I am trying to host my webcam online like i have in the past but with this new BT modem and router it just dont wanna work....

lan ip = http://192.168.1.2:8090/remote6/
Public ip = http://81.153.148.200:8090/remote6/

does your new router have an online firewall, my netgear one does. if so you may have to log onto the router through an online interface and open up the port you want to use in the firewall.

only thing i can think of :)

Yeah Adam m8 done all that
it has a firewall thats shutdown
but instead of having port forwarding it has a thing clled virtual server meant to be same as port forwarding but even when i setup the port i need to use port 8090 and the ip of this PC
still nothing i set this pc up as the DMZ too but still no one can view webpage for cam
its doing me nutt in m8...
I have a m8 in Detroit he run a rather large well huge network at a hospital there i give him acsess to the router setup page even he could not work it out...
