They must have more money than sense I reckon. Then again, Cole and Yorke were good buys as well NOT http://www.ub40-dep.com/ubb/lol.gif http://www.ub40-dep.com/ubb/laff.gif

I must admit, ive never seen the chap play. But 19 million is a lot of money,
surely you could buy a hospital wing or a few life saving machines for that amount!!
football fees are just going mad,,You could probably buy my team club and a lot more with that!!! ..
and i bet the price of a season ticket goes up....biglove

Hello Everyone,

WELL SAID STEVIE, I ALSO THINK TODAYS TRANSFER FEE'S ARE UNBELIEVABLE...WHERE WILL IT END!!!!!!!

BUT ON THE YOUNG DUTCH FORWARD....I THINK HE'S A CRACKER....GET YOUR MONEY ON HIM BEING TOP GOAL-SCORER IN THE PREMIERSHIP NEXT SEASON!!!!!

I ONLY WISH EVERTON COULD ATTRACT PLAYERS LIKE HIM TO GOODISON PARK!!!!

.....and once again, anto, the rich get richer....
LOL

just like in the States, no diff.

...but at least the 'pool seems to be on track with their youth system, so they don't need to pay the exhorbitant amount for "free-agents"

Hey, Toffee-dude.... http://www.ub40-dep.com/ubb/smile.gif....Everton gonna keep Joe-Max out of the 'housecleaning'?
(guy's home is like 3 miles from me, in So.Calif.)

Everton...Who are they gonna keep fornext season?

Walter done a good job at Rangers to get the 9 in row however at the end of his reign the team did resemble, like Everton,Dads Army.Love to see them get back to the glory days...How far away do you think?

Hello keeper and Nods,

I think Joe Max Moore could be kept as a fringe player due to Evertons current financial problems......Walter Smith...hhhmmmm.....but did'nt Greame Souness develop Rangers into the 9 in a row team?.....On Everton coming good again....I think they are at least 5 years away from the likes of Man Utd, Leeds, Arsenal, Liverpool....but you never know..fingers crossed!!!!

Maybe he was crap Rossy, but he was returning from a bad injury at the time.
From what I have seen of him pre-season I believe Fergie has got him cheap.
People said Cole/Yorke were a waste of money but the trophy cabinet has not been empty since they got together http://www.ub40.co.uk/ubb/smile.gif

I would sooner have Nistelroy then "carpet" Heskey anyday.

(carpet = always on the floor http://www.ub40.co.uk/ubb/lol.gif )

Isn't it good when opposing supporters can have a joke together?
