oh dear here we go again...too many fixtures....if you didnt blame that you would blame the referee or something else...why dont you just swallow some pride and realise that you were beaten by the better team on the day.....and that better little team is also 4th in the premiership....

Tyler D
3rd March 2001, 11:08 PM
well done OGM us so called little teams have gotta stick 2gether...hopefully my little team will go 3rd 2morrow

Rossy
4th March 2001, 12:44 AM
Yep i agree with you for once there tyler you should stick together..in another league ie division one were you belong http://www.demo3w.com/ubb/biggrin.gif http://www.demo3w.com/ubb/biggrin.gif http://www.demo3w.com/ubb/biggrin.gif http://www.demo3w.com/ubb/biggrin.gif http://www.demo3w.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

I thought the Foxes were Brilliant and Pool were flat...what with having to play 6 games in 11 days. Still a premiership game needs to be won and every time Muzzy Izzet scores theres always gonna be one result.
Lets hope Villa can also add some muscle to the midlands challenge when we take on Sunderland in the north east on Monday night.

UP THE VILLA!

ogm
4th March 2001, 08:19 AM
yeah go villa...lets get some pride back into mmidlands football

Tyler D
4th March 2001, 12:12 PM
come on now Rossy, you say Ipswich should be in a lower league but surely if thats the case you should be there too...especially IF and i do mean IF we manage to do the double over you this season....WATCH THIS SPACE!

Rossy
4th March 2001, 12:22 PM
Ipswich have been in the lower league for years come on mate they were there only last year..liverpool have never been in any other league except the top mate...

Saad
4th March 2001, 12:24 PM
@ least Ipswich and Leicester fans actually tend to come from those places http://www.demo3w.com/ubb/biggrin.gif http://www.demo3w.com/ubb/biggrin.gif http://www.demo3w.com/ubb/biggrin.gif http://www.demo3w.com/ubb/biggrin.gif http://www.demo3w.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

ogm
4th March 2001, 06:46 PM
yes i agree...it is strange to see the likes of ipswich in europe ..but you cannot deny them the right to it if they qualify by their position...I'm not saying it is right as leicester have never done very well in europe...but they got there and had their chance

biglove steve
4th March 2001, 07:04 PM
Would be nice if we could have a ground....(wombles).
I think Ipswich, Leicester, Sunderland ETC have the right to qualify for
europe the way they have played this season...

Rossy
4th March 2001, 07:11 PM
Hey i agree if you finish in the top 5 you deserve to be in europe..but remember there is still around 30 points to play for or drop before the end of the season..Liverpool are the first team in Britain already qualifyed for europe..and we are still there..

biglove steve
4th March 2001, 07:19 PM
I wish they could ogm. but not this year, maybe next.
I do miss the premiership.it was a great laugh!.that 1st division is mighty hard to get out of....biglove

Tyler D
4th March 2001, 07:59 PM
a lot of people critisize the 1st division but try getting out of it when your a footballing side...Ipswich struggled because they got kicked about week in and week out by teams just intent on stopping them at all costs...Ipswich`s style of play is more suited to the premiership.Talking of europe i still have clear memories of Ipswich winning the UEFA cup in 81...Although
it was a very long time ago you never forget things like that especially when your only a small town club...AHHH MEMORIES.

Tyler D
4th March 2001, 08:16 PM
Rossy mi main man...you should study your history books a bit more before you say Liverpool have never been out of the top league...In 1960/61 little Ipswich won the 2nd division championship( Liverpool finished 3rd)Ipswich then went straight up into the 1st division and won the championship title 61/62...the only team i think you`ll find that has ever achieved this feat...even you have got to acknowledge that is something special...and at the time Liverpool were the lower league team. I know it was a long long time ago but history is so important to a team as i`m sure you will agree..Liverpools side of the 70`s/80`s were truly awesome
By the way i don`t hate Liverpool ,infact i have a soft spot for them as my Grandad is a scouser and mad on the reds...i just get tired of the big clubs arrogant fans.

hey rossy, my old man saw lincoln beat liverpool home & away, one season in the 50s & lincoln have never been in the top flight, that was in the original 2nd division. A bloke called albert linnecor scored a hattrick at anfield, & only bob latchford & i think one other has done it since. You may say its history now but so is yesterday..........support your local team, lol, ive had to put up with lincoln all me life & we're 3rd from bottom of the basement........now that hurts........rick

if its in your blood then you should feel proud of the fact your an IMP through and through...it would be oh so easy to choose a team like Man Utd, Newcastle or Liverpool to say you support but being big reggae fans as we are we know its all about ROOTS man...

Rossy
5th March 2001, 09:17 PM
Well if its all about roots then am Confussed as my mother was born and bread in liverpool so was the rest of her family..i also lived there as a child for years...My father was born and bread in Glasgow and so was his family and i now live there.. i was actually born in Kettering town General hospital..but i never ever lived there i have only ever been back there once to visit the hospital..wich is now demolished..So who do i support?? for roots Kettering...a glasgow club or Liverpool..It was a choice i made before all the European glory days of pool...
And to any one who is wandering ..befor i moved back up to Scotland i was at most games for pool..now a Glasgow punter i visit The ibrox ground regular..as my father is a big fan..now and again i get to a liverpool game....

I agree with ya Rossy ma man. I've lived in Scotland for 11 years now, but was born and raised in Liverpool, and went to every game from the age of 5 right up until I moved up here. All my family are still there, my roots are there, my heart is there and MY team are there.

There can be only one team, LIVERPOOL FC!!
