A new compilation album of Delano Stewart who sang the original Stay A Little Bit Longer has just been released. According to the detailed sleeve notes, like most Jamaican singers from that period (late 60's/early 70's) he had an very interesting life, moving from group to group, producer to producer with more than a little controversy. Anyway, to the point, this super talented singer/songwriter is now 61 years old and apparently driving a cab in New York !!!! Maybe the UB's could track him down to appear on the Father's Album as he more than fits the title of one of the founding father's of reggae music....

thanks robert...where do you get all your information ?? although i fear it is a little too late now...we have pretty much finished the recording sessions..it took months to just finalise the paper work before the actual studio sessions could even begin.
but i will pass on Delanos whereabouts and who knows, if the record works maybe there will be 'volume 2'...... http://www.demo3w.com/ubb/smokin.gif

the father's album will be such a huge success, the quality of the singers and of course the original ub40 songs cannot fail.
this album will appeal to all ub fans and true reggae fans who want to hear their heroes singing classic songs in their own style. hope you manage to find delano stewart guys !!!!
