Default This recent ticket thing and poor old Brian...

Well I think its petty, moaning about not winning a raffle, nay a free raffle, that Brian and the boys put on for us. Can you imagine going to Camelot and moaning you didnt win and want your money back

Can ijust point out that you wont see Madonna, etc, giving away their time and probably most important to them, money.

This is what the guys have done, and they get berrated for it. UB40 owe us nothing, we like their music we buy it. Its that simple.

I have a great respect for the boys especially Brian, who have never lost sight of the people who support them. Brian, I know, does a lot for charities etc, when he could quite happily sit on his arse at home drinking his guinness and waiting for his royalties to roll in. But he doesnt, he has a very pro active role in his band his fans and he lets us glimpse his personal life, when maybe he shouldn't.

So I find it insulting when certain people have the gall to criticise losing in a FREE raffle for a FREE concert organised from the goodwill of Brian and Co.

So to the lucky winners, go and enjoy your free concert, we all had an equal chance. To the whining losers, you can revel in the fact that you have made this event unique by moaning, and the guys probably wont ever do it again.

Big love to the REAL fans and Brian

(PS are you sure there's no more tickets lying about Brian???)

A good point well made after all BT doesnt have to come on here and answear so many questions from us and tell us so much. Maybe next time this situation comes up the band and mangement will say stuff it (and who could blame them) and then everyone loses.

top post pigsy...very well said!!

Just to give you an insight into what BT is like.....when i worked on the Male loonies calendar for charity a while back he managed to get my phone number off the people at quids 4 kids and he went to the trouble of giving me a call to thank me for all the work i had done and organise being on the calendar!!...it was a shock to hear his voice on a quiet sunday lunchtime i will tell ya...what a moment for a life long fan..amazing!!!

Its embarrassing for us all as UB40 fans for him to have to bloody witness and put up with what happened yesterday...He gives up his time to mix with us on here and gets treated like that...what an insult!!!

Not a day goes by when he isnt asked the same questions over and over...or grilled in some way...and some of the favours he has been asked over time have been outragious too!!...but he still tries to keep us all happy!!and answer as many as he can!

its a true saying in life....."YOU DONT KNOW WHAT YOU`VE GOT TIL ITS GONE"

Lets hope and pray that them words dont come back and haunt us all!!
