I hate facebook- I am on it, and it takes up far too much of my world. I can see that it's going a very scary way too- you actually PAY to let your friends see more of your status's now :O How ridiculous!
As a 'page', you now have to pay to let people who have liked you and shown an interest in your work, see your photos. It sucks. Its gonna suck more and more and I have vowed to wean myself away from it!

jimmy, im surprised your not on twitter,,, took me a bit of time to get into it, but its bloody usefull tool.. quite intresting, depends who you follow...

for example i follow micheal rosen the childrens author..
who writes rather hilarious tweets taking the piss out the establishment.
calling them sir trufflywuffly or lord greed..

Yes mr GF. My eldest is always trying to get me to try twitter. She reckons it's the best way to stay informed on current affairs. It's the quickest way to get access to dissenting voices and more reliable stats. She says you can follow a breaking story and get real information instead of the bigotry and spin from politicians and the right-wing propaganda machine of the tabloid press.

Never knew that....is it a business related thing or in general?

They reel you in, get you hooked and then want to empty your pockets....... There is a name for people like that

I check in here every day but find myself hardly ever posting anything, turning into a bit of a lurker. I do love this new site but miss the way the old BB used to be.

Lets knock the roof off of this place. Love the old BB just as much now as I did when I joined.

I definitely think we all spend so much time on Facebook we have forgotten how it used to be our meeting place.
Now, if only I could stop trying to "like" comments on here
What was your reminder
