Some of the bands biggest hits come from those albums so they have to play a few on the tours but a whole LOL tour would be too much.
Lets have some new and rarely performed tracks next tour
i'll be happy with any UBgig to be honest
obscure tracks from albums would be good (contradicting myself here though)

when Ali left, apart from the first set of Signing Off, all we heard at gigs was LOL tracks
whether that was legal reasons or just a way of introducing Duncan to the public, i dont know, and yes it was great, BUT, 3 years into a new era, let the music be new
me personally
if you are talking about LOL tracks, i would sooner hear/see Boom Shaka Laka or Cream Puff rather than Red Red Wine now
don`t get me wrong, if UB40 where to do a 30 year LOL1 gig i will be elbowing Mitch out of the way at the front......but like most on the boards..i would like to hear and buy new stuff
leave the Ali era where it stopped and start afresh
What he said - except fot the bit about elbowing Mitch out of the way, I wouldn't dare even try!

Well said Patricia

Dean - if there's a 30 year anniversary tour of LOL1 - I'll let you borrow my space at the front coz I'll be elsewhere.

Yes, I was a huge fan of it at the time, but I really don't need to hear all those tracks in the same gig.

While I normally get fed up with the LOL stuff live I agree with Chris that LOL1 was an iconic album and a unique tour around it would be great..........personally I think it was the best one till LOL4 which is also excellent and Dunx singing all the classics lfrom LOL1 live would be brilliant

What I thought is for someone like me who hasn't heard any of UB40s rare stuff the idea of a Double CD and DVD would good as part of my collection I'm not that bothered about a LOL anniversary tour but the deluxe album sounds good

What she said ...and I can stand behind Michele...or preferably to her left .....near to Duncan ....or even hang from the ceiling .....swing delicately from a rose studded swing .....
