hi all, Hi BT - It's been a few years since my last post
![]() Norah jones – don’t know why (think the UBs could make this a massive success) Half Pint – greetings ( BT always says Greetings when he comes on here, and since I first heard this song about 6 years ago, I always think of it as BTs Theme tune!) Valerie – amy winehouse and that other band that I can't think of - would be nice to hear how UB40 could make this their own, just as Mrs Winehouse did. Specials – A message to you Rudy (Heard this one being done in Dublin by a group of buskers many many years ago and helped me get to know more about reggae and ska music) How about a tune associated with Maxi Priest – Close to you or Wild World? would be a nice twist and be good to see what UB40 could do with such massive hits Gun Fever – Not sure who did the original but it is very catchy and plenty chance for some Astro toasting on this one Climie Fisher – love changes not reggae by any means, but very catchy and instantly recogniseable.... another tune that UB40 could make their own Pet Shop Boys – Suburbia and Pet Shop Boys / dusty springfield– What Have I done to Deserve this...... "old" pop songs that UB40 could re-invent Bob Marley – 3 little birds..... already suggested loads of times, but this is one of the best songs ever! Pluto – Dat....... Horace Andy - skylarkin..... I could go on and on......... ![]() |
