Default Jimbob- you gotta check this out!

How ya doing?
Haven't been on for a while but I saw this
Young guy, i think he's 9 yo and thought of you.

I'm on my phone and can't post link but if you
Put 'Australia's got talent drummer boy' in the search box of youtube

Its the first one that comes up by poster mikeyzl runs for 31 secs,
A pic of Brian McFaddern in the stll shot.

This little guy is brilliant, he went on to drum to a whole
AC/DC tune, (which i can't find clip for)

He reckons his neighbours moved out coz they hate him, but
he's so good, this clip doesn't do him justice.
Only a little bloke, had to stand up to hit the hi hat (is that what
you call it?) anyhow have a gander.

Aww thanks for asking but at the risk of sounding like a broken record...
I've been in hospital again!
One of the two screws holding my ankle fusion together popped out and
Broke the skin and got an infection... In the bone, so was on a drip in
Hospital on a drip of antibiotics now on oral antis for the next 6 months and
back to the start of where i was after my neck fusion....learning to walk
again, bit of a setback but i'll get there in the end.
What have i missed? Hows that album coming along? Hope you are all doing ok x

Thanks Pixi and Jim,Yes same old ... same old indeed, im sure it'll start getting a but easier soon... With my legs anyway, then just have to have elbows and wrists replaced, which will sound a bit daunting to
some, but after neck fusion and the trouble i've had with hip replacements it'll be a walk in the park. If you haven't got use of your legs and you can't turn you're head you're stuffed. Still getting used to not being able to turn head and my neck is really short now and feels a bit suffocating sometimes but at least I still haven't got the halo brace on, that was 3 months of pure hell and I'm claustrophobic, i still don't know how i got through it to be honest.
So onward and upward and hopefully you won't announce any gigs in Oz for the immediate future, i think by this time next year i should feel a bit stronger.
Whenever I go to hospital I always take my UB40 music, its all i play (sad really i know) and I always play it to the nurses and have converted quite a few, one young male nurse from Zimbabwae in particular used to love listening to my choons, said he'd seen you in Zimbabwae a few years back, not sure exactly what year.
Anyway really looking forward to new album and to catching up with you guys when you finally get over here. Take care and i promise to poke my head in more often, i feel a bit out of the loop at the moment, have some catching up to do x
