what shokes me here is the concept of "WHITE REGGAE"

I did not know music had a colour!!!!!

If Pato Banton was white, this article would have been written differently; cause obviously, for this Jason, he judges the book by the cover.

Idiot! Thanks to people like him, some believe that being black is an asset to sing good reggae; or having the riddim in the blood.

I can understand why many musicians have an in-built distrust of journalists.

the thing that strikes me is that the 'English Beat' and the Specials modelled themselves on ska, not reggae. Shows how this journo has jumped on the bandwagon and is unable to decipher for themselves, the differences between the two genres of music

Like Good Ambition said, is it any surprise that artists dont trust journos???
I Love UB40 and Reggae Music
