I loved The Farm. One of the best music experiences of my life was seeing The Farm and Big Audio Dynamite at Avalon on Lansdowne street in Boston - had to be around 1990 or so. Great gig and remember having a beer with The Farm afterwards and I was struck by how young they were. BAD was fabulous too. Fun night.

Depends on the mood really but I have fairly diverse interests.....fairly diverse.
Any reggae is generally my first attraction but I do have a keen (wierd perhaps) attraction to R&B/Rock and Roll, especially the female artists.
Taylor Dayne, Melissa Etheridge, Bonnie Raitt, Amanda Marshall, to name a few of my faves.
BlueGrass/Folk - perhaps, the most soothing voice is Alison Krauss (vid below). Her voice couple with the acoustics, steel guitar slides, dobro for some of ther other songs just gets me every time....

and I still think she's a reggae wanna be BTW.....

Classical/Opera: I guess the closest I come to that is the Canadian Tenors. Bunch of talented kids that are tearing it up Internationally in that genre.....marketing genius leading that, but with talent to support it.

New stuff, I guess back to the young artists that impress me like Loryn below. Always on the lookout for new talent.

Country - nah, not my thaaang despite the hat.

For me I love all sorts of music....if it moves me from within then im there..... a tune that can make you feel like TURNING UP the volume.. your heart says 'AHHHHH YES' and you FEEL the dance from within is always a goodie.
From soul, funk, of course reggae...blues.. jazz..ambient...classical...country....a tiddley bit of rock (and i mean a VERY small bit of rock)....all dance styles...to the oldies style and world music.

I JUST LOVE MUSIC.....AND I FEEL IT........
