yes tom. doing all that rehearsing with dunc and tony have taken the band to a new level. Most of the revues in the press were the best revues we've had in 10 years. And not one criticism of dunc. Aldi missing was hardly mentioned.
that's because our live show has never concentrated on lead singers. tracks like johnny too bad and RITK are the ones that really animate the audience. everyone loves kingston town or RRW for their recognition factor, but it's other tunes that make the live show. Now, it's tracks like boom shaka and DUTML that bring the energy level up at a UB's show.

that's why aldi is accused of kareoke, his show is very bland and middle-of-the-road in comparison.

fair enough, you might prefer that style. just don't pretend it's the same thing.
