Default Reality Shows

There are an incredible amount of reality shows on tv now. Would you ever go on a reality show? This question was posed to me yesterday.

I only watch a few but have heard of most, as most people I know watch at least one if not many. The only one that I would go on is a show we have called "Amazing Race" where people travel around the world with a partner, do certain tasks and the last person to check in is eliminated each week. I would love to go on that show and travel the world. Other than that, I cannot imagine going on any other, no matter what the prize was.

Would you? If so, which one?

Wouldn't touch them with a bargepole Trish and I'd ban the lot of them and replace them with rugby and reggae programmes.

Nope, you wouldn't get me on one of them in a month of Sundays for a whole variety of reasons, including the tv companies having total editorial control, creating artificial situations etc just for 5 minutes of infamy.

Tom - no rugby progs

Agreed, my hubby would have said hockey.

The Amazing Race is actually pretty well done, and very interesting. And none of the fakeness of the rest of the reality shows. I cannot stand most of them.

We have all of those (apparently Cowell is bringing XFactor here this season, yawn) and more. Its really sad actually how many there are. I just remembered one other one I watch, Celebrity Apprentice. Like to watch celebrities fumble around and beg for money. Watched one episode of the Get Me Outta Here one that they had here, it was wrong on so many levels and they weren't really celebrities either.

The Amazing race how far away have they got

too many of them are over faked, or under edited.

forgot one, house swap it's always predictable.

Wife swap Kathie? They always pair complete opposites up. Heathen woman with righteous family and vice versa... sometimes I can't help but watch for a few minutes then groan and change channels quickly.
