I saw him in Willenhall pub once a couple of years ago, and at best, he was shockingly awful...singing through his nose in leather jacket and trousers i have NEVER seen Ali wear!

(Nice enough chap, was gonna play guitar for full line-up he was putting together)

Default Ub40 Tribute

I have known Anthony for some time now and he has performed at my establishment on several occasions. I can honestly say without a doubt in my mind that he is one of the nicest performers that i have ever had the pleasure to meet. Dont get me wrong their are several other good tribute acts out their as well and fair play to all of the as they have more balls than me getting up on that stage but i always have customers comment on how good Anthony is and what a great night they have had. I can only put it down to his uncanny ability to work with the audience as he seems to instictivly know what they want to hear and adapt his act likewise.

I have not spoken to him for some time however as far as i am aware he is now available to book with a full reggae band as well. The times when he has performed at my venue it has been a solo performance which initially worried me as it can be very difficult for one entertainer to fill a stage however he did and has always pulled it off with an amazing presence. I am sure that a full backing band would only compliment him more.

Anyway, enough of my but kissing, lol. I reckon that i have written enough praise to get him to give me a free performance next time he is here, only kidding. He is a great guy though and a true fan of UB40 if ever i have met one.
