UB40 and Madness live at Apollo theatre, Victoria, London on 10 April 1983, to raise funds for the Stop Sizewell B Inquiry Fund. This is from the video Too Hot To Handle

Enjoy,
JJ

Was this before they recorded the charity single "Starvation"?Not sure if that track was ever performed live but it was an enjoyable version of The Pioneers original

Ive only ever seen a brief clip of this before, I did have an audio snippet too. Wow 2 of my favourite bands on stage, maybe a joint headliner in the future could be arranged, it would be great too see both bands on tour at the same time.

Wonder if this was before or after they smashed up Rod Stewart's hotel room together.

I saw Suggs do a benefit gig at the Irish centre in Brum a couple fo years ago and he did a question and answer thing after sining a couple fo songs. One of the questions related to him being very well read and quite intellectual in his choice of reading matter, he replied it hadnt always been like that, he mentioned when he saw the headline in the paper "that Suggs and Ub40 destroy Rod Stewarts Suite", he thought it read smashed up Rod Stewarts "Suit", to which he complained to everyone around him who would listen, "how do you smash up a suit?", untill someone pointed out his ignorance.

Well Rod Stewart has spent 50 years destroying some classic songs so someone smashing up his suit is nothing............
