Folkestone !
I'm so tired after 2 hours of sleep I have the strength to use a translator to make this wonderful concert in folkestone with the best band of the one true ub40 world. After driving 3 hours (with the Channel Tunnel ) 3:30 so I arrived in the pouring rain folkestone ;
After lunch , I went to the room ' leas ' with my friend and I have the happiness to drink a good beer (or two) listening to the soundcheck from the bar above the room .. very good start to the day . after the concert : 2 hours of pure happiness such a perfect setlist! I am delighted every song ... and duncan is even better day by day , magnificent presence and so unique and beautiful voice ... harmonizing his voice and the robin is the best ever .. i hav talk with my mate Old loonie and sharron; very nice people and nice chat with my loonies friends  group is in a state of well being that warms the heart of every loonie  I had the great chance to meet the band after the wonderful concert , sharing a unique moment to tell them all the good I think of them and the joy to talk with people so humble and cool, a real pleasure even if the language barrier is not always easy for me my English life .. ha ha . it is late and time for Brian Martin , Norman and Laurence joining the others on the bus to Portsmouth ...after again great chat with brian's friend (very kind person who had a pub in birmingham) and few other charming people, my mate and me take my car and , in the old folkestone street, was behind the ub40 bus ! few linutes again with my heroes.... now, i hav my shuttle at 1h23 pm but missed for few minutes so take the other at .. 3h27  arrived in sunny paris at 9h o clock, just sleep 2 hours and ready for work with all this great 'souvenirs' in my heart ! love u all, viva ub40 forever and thanks again ....

You nutter Bruno, driving from Paris to Folkestone and back on the same day...and missing your Shuttle by 2 minutes because you decided to spend time with the band after the show... haha..there are things in life that just have to be done - you only live once!! Missing a train is a small sacrifice!
Great review. I bet you are still floating on a cloud with the memories of yesterday. Looking forward to seeing the photos. Sorry I couldn't make it. I'm sure we will get to meet one day. Love Tan

great read as ever Bruno and so good to talk to you my friend. it was an amazing gig we were right in front of robin singing every lyric with him but just enough to his left to be in front of jimbob and watching his shenaniggins behind the drums like a naughty school kid lol
