fanfest 2014

i know it aint really my job to be doing this but summat needs to be done. the fanfest may be in danger of becoming extinct if more peeps don't attend. i know there's quite a few regular posters on this bb who have never attended a fanfest and some who have but no longer do. i'm just here to ask some of you to attend the next un. you never know you might enjoy it. we're a friendly bunch (well most of us are, just avoid me if i'm pissed) we try to include everyone or, in my case, bully you onto the dance floor if you are too static. there's usually some kind of live music, competition and food and it's cheap as chips for a coupla neets out unless you're a piss artist like me. and there's some great people to meet. so think about registering for next year's fest please. it would be wonderful to see some new faces, and hopefully old faces too. that's it, me dun xxx

Was a belting couple of nights.....Homegrown were great on Friday and Antney Hassan. And Saturday......well what can I say about Saturday??? Madness.....pure madness

Laughed most of the night and can't believe how good some of the loonies were at the singing competition

I wasn't brave enough to get up on my own but did however get up with the lovely Grinner (Tina) and do a duet......was so funny

they do an excellent job of organising it and everyone has a brilliant time, we would have loved to have gone but we couldn't manage it, but anyone who can make it in future, don't think about going....just go and you'll have the best weekend ever

Love your report! No doubt it was a fun time! Sting, you make a great case here to Support UB40 FanFest! We are gon' do our best to make it there. Soul and Jaye put heart and Soul into making this happen. We weren't there, but we had the pleasure of listening to the Live Stream. You could feel the excitement and enjoyment. We felt like we were there, but there's nothing like being there.
