A memorable show steve. it must have been around 1980/1. Don't know the exact date.

The reason I remember it so well was because we nearly had to shut the show down.

We had so many people crammed into the venue, and everyone was dancing so much that the balcony started to creak and warp. We thought the whole lot was coming down, well, our management did anyway. The band just got on with playing and were totally unaware of what was happening. Don't think the audience was aware either.

Luckily the balcony stayed up and their were no casualties.

Great gig though.
