Default A question for ub40 about lol film

After watching the LOL dvd again i was just wondering who came up
with the idea to make it, what was it like to film,
Were alot of the people in it freinds and family. I thinks its great that it was made around brum, it brings back loads of memories picking out the places we used to know as kids. cheers

"A cross between Seven Brides For Seven Brothers and Boys From The Blackstuff" is how I recall someone in the band describing it (can't recall who).

good question....and the culprit was BT... the film is a masterpiece, watching again is like hankering back the days when films were films, made properly, a great british drama, really gritty and true to life's tribulations.
