flip heck, going for a record 3 posts in one day!!! ok.. Glastonbury... if they do play (which is highly unlikely... but hey, who knows??) they know they are more than welcome to pop in for a cuppa (or something a bit stronger) seing as though it is right on my door step.. a wee stroll away.

Then again, they would have to take it in turns to sit down, as I only have one sofa & an arm chair (could always play musical chairs), or there's always the boozer at the end of my street... mmm now we're talking.....

... anyway they were flipping good when they DID play Glast in June 83 - still have the scars ... but that's another story.....

Glastonbury Remember reading about it in Wildcat's book "UB40 - A Legal Drug", a real great set UB40 played. I have the show on audio tape, including the ending with Ali saying hello to Wildy's parents! Set had tracks like DUBMOBILE / FORGET THE COST / TYLER / PRESENTS ARMS/ I'VE GOT MINE/ MADAM MEDUSA / DON'T DO THE CRIME and 8 other songs. Would love to see UB40 perform at a (reggae festival) overhere again. They played PINKPOP in 1981 filling in for The Pretenders who were busy recording in the studio. Maybe UB40 can play Reggae Sundance in Eindhoven one day? Or have Oracabessa play/DJ at the festival!
