2 questions
Hi All
couple of quick questions 1 - My icon thingys dont seem to work <<<I've put a sad face here) 2 - I'm getting friend notifications, what are these for, is it similar to facebook? Any advice would be appreciated <<< beer cheers here

not sure what friend notifications are for but i just accept them - doesn't really have any impact.
your icon thing is showing but you abviously arn't set up to be able to see em. you need to fiddle with the tick boxes on your profile. i can see yours fine though it's a pic of you in a blue or white shirt.

Hels I think he is saying the emoticons...sad faces happy faces etc...mine don't appear either...they show on the page as you make a post...you add it...but then it doesn't appear on the post!

If you look at the bottom of the page, underneath where it says Posting Rules, does it say you've got your Smilies on or off?

Then, I'm sorry to tell you that you have a wee smilie stealing ghostie in your computer. There's nothing we can do. Except for an exorcism ... but with that there's a risk of spinning heads and possible death.

When you post, if you click on "Go Advanced", scroll down to the "Additional Options" ... in the box "Miscellaneous Options" are the smilies disabled?

Automatically parse links in text
Automatically retrieve titles from external links Disable smilies in text (this box is not ticked....so it should be enabled) to be honest...I'm not too fussed...am sure they will appear one day...thanks for your advice, assistance, reallytruly bOi....
